This tutorial describes how to create a closed caption file within Camtasia. To view how YouTube translates the closed caption file, click the CC button on the YouTube Player. You’ll notice that the bottom of the video is black, this is the space Camtasia makes for the Captions, but each video sharing site may process the file a little differently. This black bar can be removed within the Camtasia Project. Within Closed Captions, click on the “On Video/Under Video” button in the upper right hand side of the bin.
